Great lighting on the stand as usual and a fantastic selection of cars on display.

The White Lady sure is special.

I wanted to take a minute and thank all the people who went over and said Hello to my DeTomaso Brethren at NEC.

Pete was very impressed by the Jensens, especially the White Lady, and Paul's SP.

It was quite nice to hear Pete's comments, and the fact that you guys took the time to drop by - he said he had about 5 visitors!

Zac: I am this Car - I'll update the thread tonight to put a picture of myself in the thread.

From Classic and Sports Car web page

Best Club Run/Rally: The Veteran Car Club of Great Britain

At the risk of repeating ourselves, we again saw dozens of high-quality entries in this category.
The Honda S800 Sports Car Club’s 40th-anniversary celebration was one such example, as was the Jensen Owners’ Club’s East Coast Tour.
In the end, though, the judges went for the Veteran Car Club of Great Britain’s ‘The Long, Long Trail’, a tour visiting Belgium and France to commemorate the centenary of the Great War and tracing the story from 1914 to 1918.

Although we did not win this year, as this event was on the same weekend as 100 Years of the end of the Great War, this award went to worthy winner.. Although according to the people who was on the stand and attended the awards on Friday night the Jensen Owners Club came second with there East Coast Tour USA

Great trailer, I always wonder what are in the covered car trailers you see on the motorways, but perhaps they are less distracting.
Good to see you both, Joerg and Jens on Saturday, and good luck with the restoration.

Joerg, I'm with you, do it in white, and after a year or two, wrap it in black, it will look fantastic.

Joerg...

I see that the White lady is voted Classic Car Weekly's car of the show at the NEC!

Well done!

Great find, and great car!
