Agreed but it could be that more people buy BP Super Unleaded or that the Petrol Station is about 100yds from the Gate of the RAF station and maybe they have more cars that need it?

Hi Guys. Many, many thanks for your sympathetic replies. They made me feel better about myself. I was thinking at my age 81 I was losing "it". However am becoming angry old white male of privledge, I am told. My niece who just turned 18 had appendicitis recently (amazing how they "do" it with camera and "chopsticks". She was laughing at me making mistake but I told her at my age I have never been in hospital and once you are admitted you keep going back over the years. She went quiet.......for a little while. My boy racer mechanic who wears "colours" told me that one should ALWAYS use BP98 Ultimate as it's the best fuel for big high comp. motors. Once again thanks for the morale booster. I shall mention you all in my prayers. kenny38 :D
After Brexit we will be going back to 5* proper leaded 100 actane fuel and get rid of this namby-pamby unleaded stuff. That's what I've read in my dreams :D
Oh I wish.... On the Swiss trip we used Aral 102 octane which was widely available in Germany, French border areas and
Luxembourg. Car ran a treat!
