I Don't Want One... but what is it?

Post by Richie »

I keep seeing this ad pop up on my Facebook feed... and I wondered what the gizmo that fits in the exhaust is? but when i click on it, it takes me to a general page and I'm none the wiser.
Whatever it is, I don't think i want one... but what is it??

Thanks Keith.
How naff is that :D :D
so It's like when kids used to peg a playing card to their bikes so that it would poke into the wheel spokes and sound like a motorbike. Only that at least helped kids develop an imagination.
How very sad for alleged adults to buy a whistle for a car. Oh dear.

Who's going to buy a couple and put them in an Interceptor's tail pipes. It would be interesting to hear what they sound like.

I vote we buy two from Club funds and secretly insert them in Steve Payne's interceptor.
That should keep him puzzled for a while.

Don't think I'll bother, see

mine sounded better with no exhaust fitted with just the manifolds attached.

That‘s true. They‘re actually quite good, because they only sound when you drive in reverse.

When my daughter had a Mini Cooper S, I heard that some wannabe owners who had put body kits on their standard Minis put these in the exhaust to emulate the sound of the supercharger whistle....
