HMS 300N is the Jensen Interceptor III which was long-term owned by Bob & Jan Nelson and is now owned by Classic Car Club, 138 Pitfield Street, London.
Bob & Jan lived in Cumbria until they moved to France and had their own regular page in the JOC magazine.
Nelsons' Column.
It was more of a comedy page and social commentary than a technical article, though they did tend to obsess about the fuel filler flap and starting problems.
