Lord Carrington, former foreign secretary and well known Jensen owner has sadly died. A fine age and an honourable man (I can still remember him resigning immediately at the beginning of the Falklands crisis - not a behaviour which comes naturally to most modern politicians or people in power).
RIP.

I do Grant.
And the story about being stopped at the end of the M1 for speeding, while in his Jensen.

Re: Lord Carrington
How sad...I have one of (If I remember correctly) the three Jensens he owned so I`ll go and give it a wash, polish and drive tonight.
As a side, it still wears the XYU 7 registration (albeit in Western Australia).
Interesting to note the cars he owned including the CV8 convertible prototype..
