I was sat in the car when I noticed something sticking out of the top of the glovebox...
When I opened it up, this is what I found!
There was probably about a kilo of birdseed in there under all the leaves.
I suppose it’s my fault for not driving the car often enough. Luckily there doesn’t seem to be much damage, just a bit of insulation ripped up, and some slight nibbling to the fabric on the inside of the glovebox.
Sadly, the perpetrator is no longer with us. Peanut butter works really well in mousetraps

Simon,
having a child does not mean to leave the other children unattended. Even if they‘re cars.

Good grief!
All that effort.
On the basis that the mouse can carry only a few things in its mouth at any one time imagine how many journeys/miles involved.

True, but what else did that mouse have to do except work on his car?
It is amazing the amount of work that you can get done if someone were to keep at it.

You’re right Jens! I’m trying to rectify that nowJens wrote:having a child does not mean to leave the other children unattended. Even if they‘re cars
If it’s any consolation, I felt really impressed by the industrious little mouse. That food would have lasted it the entire winter. I felt bad about trapping it. However, it’d already nibbled the labels off a seatbelt, so who knows what the little blighter would have damaged next...Barrie wrote:Good grief! All that effort.
