You been smelling them there mushrooms in the mountains in the USA ? :D . No you are right there is a company that has started making things for 541 and CV8, not sure if it is the same one that you were thinking of but try:

Facebook - Jensen Heritage Center
Web: https://www.jensenhc.nl/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A Dutch company, based near Epe, north of Appledorn (Eastern side of Amsterdam)

Hope that is of any help and you can stop dreaming??

Hi all,

Indeed; this is an iniative from a member of the Dutch Jensen owners club.
He has reproduced all the moulds to make a complete new (kevlar) body for a 541S or C-V8 MK. Engine, transmisson, steering etc, will be decided by customer.
All like JIA did with the Interceptor, but now with the 541S and C-V8.

If you want more information, pls do not hesitate to contact him: Ton van Rijn.

Next tuesday I will be there for a report/photoshoot for a Dutch classic car magazine :D

I also like the idea of taking one of those ugly Interceptor things and re-bodying it as a much prettier C-V8 :-)

I wonder if it works on the owners as well...

Does anyone know if a 541S bonnet will fit earlier versions of the 541? I know they ave different grill arrangements but are they the same physical size and shape bonnet?

Hi Martin, we (I.e. The JOC) have a bonnet mould for the 541R. This will allow bonnets to made which will fit the 541, 541 DL and 541R, although there are some differences between the 541R bonnet and its predecessors. Thanks to Mike Byrne for putting in many many hours of his time refurbishing this mould.

Many thanks for everyone’s input - hopefully the somewhat forlorn examples we saw earlier on this trip can be returned to their former glory!

Would you care to elaborate? What have you discovered on your US trip?

A British car restoration workshop with a couple of 541’s languishing in the back. Other people took the details and hopefully, we can put the owner in touch with the right person/people to obtain the required bonnet
