Pacific blue

Post by pedrow1 »

Having thoughts about painting my car. Its currently yellow and I rather like that bright 70’s look but not so keen on yellow. I want to keep with the bright primary jensen colours and have come across Pacific Blue.

Do any members have Pacific Blue cars, if so could you post some pictures. I am very keen to see how it looks.

Many thanks

This is "Toby" in Pacific Blue as it came out the factory, the build sheets indicate that it was initially intended to be Reef Blue but the original owner baulked at £80 extra over, i have now gone back to Reef Blue. I hope this is of some help?

Thanks, Toby looks terrific.

I think it would look amazing on my car (convertible).

My family are not so sure!

It was a tough call to go away from Pacific Blue, i had swatches of both done and the consensus was Metalic Reef Blue over the solid colour, i hope i don't regret it

The Mk 1 Healey shown above was the standard Pacific Blue. It was,in our opinion a bit wishy-washy,but the original paint jobs were not very good. The colour changed in 73 (Mk2) to Malaga Blue, which was much better.
