The original registration of the Mark 3, 1974 I have bought is PKP 700M. The file from Martin Robey is not substantial. Any known history from fellow readers would be greatly appreciated.
Shaun and Zac, good to meet you today at Excel.
Kind regards
Karan

Using the detail on the card, I made contact today with West Malling Garage in Kent. To my surprise, it is still a going concern and I was told that the landlord of the property were main dealers for Jensen and that they have a 74/76? Jensen with only 12,000 mile on the clock. Trying to find out if members of Joc. In the meantime my MK3 has travelled from California - LA, through the Panama Canal to Colombia and is now in Caribbean Sea. It was in the UK, Aberdeen before it was taken to Texas - quite a journey and a trip I envy.

There is quite often a story behind these cars. There is a letter in the file for my car from the owner to Jensen enquiring about Jensen's Middle East representative as he was planning a trip to Beirut! This was in 1971.

Re: Mk3 Interceptor - PKP 700M
I started my obsession with interceptors after seeing John Pelly's Jensen in the West Malling Garage showroom. They had by then, 1996, become a decent secondhand car dealership specialising in Toyotas, but the Jensen took pride of place in the showroom. I bought a mk1 MR2 which I later sold back to them. The Jensen had belonged to a Dr Mok and was recently featured in the JOC magazine after John Pelly's son set about restoring it after his father's death.
