Poor chap!
What a Christmas present to himself.
Still, he was in my opinion holding the company back.

Your place names never cease to amuse. "Sodington" and "Mamble" are delightful - which prompted me to look up the house on Google Earth. Magnificent!
Just the place to have Jensen prototypes strewn about the gravel driveway.

Wrong car. Richard Jensen would have turned in his grave!

Wikipedia has it half wrong too as I'm sure they don't realise there was a fifties Interceptor and would be referring to the 66 to 76 models.

The wording from Wikki is:-
The Jensen Interceptor is a Grand touring car which was hand-built at the Kelvin Way Factory in West Bromwich, near Birmingham in England, by Jensen Motors between 1966 and 1976. The Interceptor name had been used previously by Jensen for the Jensen Interceptor made between 1950 and 1957 at the Carters Green factory.

I used to enjoy driving through Wyre Piddle near Evesham :-)

I was lost trying to find a town near me, I wound the window down at the lights and shouted to a passerby "Leatherhead"... he then wanted to fight me as he thought I was calling him names

These are gold. I must admit that, on trips to England and driving about, I have actually laughed out loud at some of them.

Though I suppose we do have the Maori prefix "Whaka" in a lot of place names - and the "Wh" is pronounced as an "F". As in "Whakapapa".
