My wife just figured out that I spent $1100 on a lathe. She found this out while reviewing the activity on our checking account.

Luckily she does not know what a lathe is, and she thinks that it is an auto part that I need to get my car running.

So she is irritated at me for spending all this money on my car.

She would much much more irritated if she realized I just bought a machine tool that I probably really do not need, and stuck it in my buddies garage so that we can spend many hours drinking beer and reducing big chunks of aluminum into shavings.

Rocky

If she ever comes to the site and realizes that her husband (me) is a guy named Rocky, I will be in the doghouse with you.

I saw a post on Facebook recently that said something like:

In the event of my death, do not allow the wife to sell my car for what I've told her I've spent on it.

Well, that’s pretty much what i did Col. The only issue was that I hadn’t had the opportunity to gently mention it.
A luxury item that is owned through choice can never ‘need’ expenditure. Whereas my house does need a new bathroom.
But i have my priorities right :D :D

Cant see the problem...you have foresight...all of the bases covered........
1. The carpets fit the Jensen..or

2. In the event that management throws you out, I am sure that they will fit the doghouse.....
Thanks
David
