I don't think there's enough cylinders in the engine for Joerg!

I think Joerg just might place a well sorted V8 in a JH if he had one
Only working half a day now.

Plenty of options, but the Rover V8 is a perfect fit with no other mods needed to brakes/suspension as the weight of this engines plus its gearbox is very similar to that of the Lotus 907 plus Sunbeam/Getrag gearbox. There is a whole heap of upgrades and power deliveries for the Rover V8.
I am sure there are other candidates like the Chevrolet Corvette C5? Lotus developed engine.

It was a C4 LT5. Not sure it would fit but it would look nice if you could.

At least Interceptors have a Jensen chassis

Just to broaden the debate.

And what brand of "chassis" does the Jensen-Healey have, it it's not Jensen?

I think the original poke (as opposed to a joke, or anything which should be taken in any way seriously) was that a true JENSEN (why the capitals, I don‘t know) is one in which the two brothers were involved in. But I stand to be corrected- and I wouldn‘t take it too seriously, coming from someone who has an SP (if I remember correctly) and an FF
