Jeeezus! Grant. That is a truely awful pic. of you. Have you tried to get work at the film studios? Obviously not as a leading man but as a manical mechanic complete with bolt cutters out to rescue the doberman. Love your work. kenny38

Taking this thread back to the beginning, here is rather a handsome C-V8 after the (partial) retrim was completed and also some photos of work in progress, I only had the front seats recovered (new seat bases as well) and also, and this was a last minute decision when i arrived at Rejen with my ears ringing after a drive around the M25, the carpets replaced and sound deadening added. The two seat backs side by side shot shows why I had to have the seats recovered! The leather used for the front seats was Connonly Vaumol 'Poppy', this is probably the colour the seats were in 1965 and as you can see it matches the original trim on the doors very well, it isn't such a good match with the rear seats but then they are 50 years old and I think the match is as good as it is possible to get, certainly all the horror stories I was told about not being able to live with the mis-match have not come true, I can live with it and everyone who's seen the car says, yeah, not bad! I'm happy. Well done to Jason and Ashley and the guys at Rejen.

Lovely work as ever in Rejen. You will enjoy cruising sitting in that and smelling the fresh leather. It is important to be good to yourself every so often! Enjoy.

Hi John

Wish I'd paid more attention to your car at Brooklands now looking at the new interior. I will check it out next time.
