It was meant to say motoring magazines (it was in a couple) but my iPad corrected it and rewrote history, bloody technology sorry.

For the curious:
I am not sure who the figure on the left is, but he is talking to Brian Spicer, Deputy Chief Engineer, and behind them is Wyndham Powell Sales Manager. Left of the car is Gethin Bradley of Good Relations and I think the man with his back to us is L J K Setright, well known eccentric journalist. Just visible with the bald head I think is the Duke of Kent, and joining in from the right is Dick Graves, Marketing Director.

LJK Setright, in my opinion one of our finest motoring journalist. His father, i believe invented or designed the iconic bus clippy ticket machine.

The 541 EAs, according to Calver's Chassis book:

541
25 EAs out of 156 cars

541DL
2 EAs out of 44 cars

541R
28 EAs out of 193 cars

541S
11 EAs out of 127 cars

I hope I counted correctly

Sorry to go off-topic, but here's a question:

We recently ate at a pub, whose walls were covered with random photos. The one opposite me showed a rider getting onto a bike, that I identified as a 1920s Scott, probably in the 1960s. I became firmly convinced that the rider was LJK Setright, but have found no connection between him and Scott. What does the panel think?
