US race poster with 541

One of the races on that day lists a Jensen Special as participating, with a Pontiac engine. Nothing to do with our marque unfortunately, the driver is a Don Jensen and his car is a Victress-Pontiac- I think at least. Pictured below in the middle:

Great illustration of the 541 though. The poster was on Ebay and I managed to secure it, so I'll be able to do a high resolution scan.

Love your research stuff! I think there may be as many guys in the US of A with the name Jensen as there are in Scandinavia!
That Victress has shades of nearly every British sports car of the period, don't you think! Lord knows how it handled on a '39 chassis, but it sure looks good. Straight line stuff only, methinks.

I think so too- he must be sitting at least one head higher than the other drivers!
