Hi is there a problem with the private message system.
I have trying the to reply to Paul for days.

If it still in your outbox then he hasn't seen it yet and it hasn't been opened and read, if it has gone from your outbox and in sent items then it has been read :wink:

When I go to send it it says general error
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page.

Sorted it I had a smiley face imoji in the previous message and got the same message.
Removed it and it when though.
Tried in on the PM and it when.
Feeling quite proud :-)

Well spotted! It sounds like there may be two different problems. The SQL error often occurs when a forum is too popular; waiting a little while solves that. Zac may be able to change the total number of simultaneous connections allowed.

Just back from holiday :-)

The SQL error is due to you using an emoji from the keypad of a mobile phone / tablet (probably an Apple device) rather than using the smilies from the list shown on the right when posting.

The character from the mobile device can't be stored in the database as it is not in the character set used.
