How many SP's are there left running or not?

Can anyone tell me how many SP's there are left in the world. Off the road or otherwise please. I asked Richard Calver but he won't say until I give him his three legged goat back. I looked after it for him while he was away a year or so ago. I have become very attached to it and do not want to part with it. Calver needs it for his ceremonies. Some have reckoned only around 20 working SP's are around. Have spoken to Hemi performance Q/Land but they haven't fitted one for "years etc and why not a nice fuel injection sir"? kenny38

This issue has been raised before. Sort of.
You could ask Tim Clark, the Interceptor Variants Registrar.
But Tim has a language all of his own, and you're Australian, so there could be a communications problem.
You might need VFK44 as an interpreter. He's really good.
Others have suggested that, like Shakespeare, the charm, poetry and nuance of the original text gets lost in translation.

I got bored 1x night, and spend what seemed like a lifetime writing all the leads down.
I'm buggered if I remember where..!

I do seem to remember that it got to about 60x odd that were listed & cross referenced so they weren't counted twice.
What they don't say is if they are still running or roadworthy.

When you search 'how many left" dot com.....it says 23x odd......but that is licensed.
i.e on the road, with an MOT.

BUT, remember that there are quite a number of Jensens that were just registered as a Jensen, so there could be all sorts in there.

I know of mine, and also another within 5 miles.
Apparently, there is also another in a barn in the south west of England....and no i'm not saying...just in case its an FF...

And if you go to see it, with the aim of making an offer on it, don't forget to tell the owner it's worth a lot less than an Interceptor,
because of the complication of the Six-Pack set-up and hard-to-find parts.
And if it's an FF, similarly, all that four-wheel-drive gubbins with its extra weight, mechanical complexity and
unreliability of the anti-lock brakes, also reduces its value significantly.

I called andy of appleyards to arrange for a new S3 rear bumper bar as mine has been destroyed by a stupid c%$# running into rear of me while at a red light.
Andy (who is the epitome of a nice guy) suggested about 100 SP survive. Not neccessarily on the road at this time but as prices improve more may surface. Kenny38
