Hello Francis  ... Happy Boxing day to you sport :P ... he didnt say Felt Bush although there is also a felt bush on the column, the felt bush is on the mk2's + Mk3 inside a piece of tube welded onto an upstand which is bolted to a piece of angle on the column, but in the video he refered to the a Fibre Bush,.. but he was meaning was the rubber disc that has 4 metal tube inserts in and links the steering column to the rack, this was also on the Mk2's+ MK3's, it gets too hot as it is near the exhaust down pipe and then deteriates and needs replacing as it gives play in the steering, I think can be replaced with a golf one, but they are still available from the usual spares peeps :P I am sure you would have seen both the bushings I am refering to .. I cannot speak for the Mk1 as I dont have 1 and i know the set up is slightly different on the Mk1's ... but you dont have a Mk1 either :D ... thought you may pop over to me at some point to sort the other thing out Francis ... Or I can come to you .. didnt want to leave it up in the air like it is....
Love to all Francis

Great video, lovely car, well presented ("adequate, as they say"!)

Not in the club- boo. The production numbers are also a bit off.

Roger Moore is still alive, so perhaps someone could ask him?
