APOLOGIES! SELF-SERVING EMAIL REGARDING SPARK RESIN MODELS

Post by Nicholas Lightbown »

(with advance apologies for somewhat selfish post)

A few years ago, I bought six quite beautiful Spark (resin) models as follows:-

Aston Martin DBS6 1967 Windsor red, (Spark S0573)
Aston Martin V8 Automatic 1978 (Spark S0575), met. argento
Aston Martin V8 Oscar India 1978 (met blue, Spark S0576)
Aston Martin DBS V8 Salisbury blue (Spark S0574)
Aston Martin DBS 1971 “The Persuaders” car finished in Bahama Gold (Spark S0580)
Aston Martin V8 Vantage 1977 (Spark S0578; now destroyed following accident)

I’m now looking to dispose of these models after i) accidentally realising the fragility of resin the difficult way (I clumsily dropped one such model, before disposing of the shattered remains) & ii) buying a number of Enco Interceptor variants (I now need to 'de-clutter' - after all, I live in a 'bijou' central London flat).

The five remaining examples are all as new, with each model rarely found for sale, on an individual basis, anywhere. If these models were to be sold collectively, I honestly believe collectors would be presented with a genuinely unique opportunity. So feel free to forward this message to AMOC members!

With this borne in mind, and given my own fear and distrust of Ebay, could kind consideration please be given to advising the best possible way I might dispose of my small – but quite beautiful – collection of (1/43) Spark Aston Martin DBS/AM V8 variants!?

With my most profound thanks in advance of comments gratefully received
