John, if you zoom in you can just make out a real speck of dust on the S4. I'm glad he got it sorted in the end because we were all getting a bit embarrassed about it ruining a good day.

Thanks Tim.

Excellent turn out and thanks for all your hard work in setting this up.

Have you thought about running the UK?

Cheers.

P.S. I will load some more photos shortly but looks like we already have a pretty good smattering.

Have you thought about running the UK?
Or the Labour Party.
Or UKIP.
Or Top Gear.

There's plenty of choice

Top Gear as Mr Evans has now dropped out.

Instead of the Stig, I could be the Admiral.

Just another daft idea.

JENSEN AT BRANDS HATCH SUPERPRIX

Post by Billy Rootes »

Well done Tim,

I had a great day and it was good to see you, other members and their cars. JOC had the best turn out by some margin.

Quite a number of the pre 65 touring cars were straight off to La Sarthe for the Le Mans Classic. We leave at 05.00 hours on Thursday for Portsmouth. The Six Pack will be singing in the early morning cool air!

Put me down for next year.

Best regards,

John

Well thanks much gents for the support & the kind words- has really cheered me up!
Its very much appreciated as organising anything big or small is generally a thankless task, so thanks.

WHAT a great day though eh!
glad you all enjoyed it, was great seeing old & new friends alike- a fantastic display of cars, we were deffo the main draw no question.
I've mailed our thanks etc to organiser this morning, also requesting more than 5 minutes notice(!) as if early in diary our numbers would have been huge, there were 4 events on sunday.

He said on sunday how chuffed they were of our effort & said to pass that on to everyone who took pa
Manifold on Nick's car, he's on here so if he doesnt spot I'll ping him later.

Apparently, there was a complaint from a local resident- turns out Rob's j-H V8 makes more thunder than a F1 car!!!! its awesome!

Just got this- trust me after doing things for donkeys years, I have never had such support or any word of thanks, here it is- this is how to do business, what a gent!

Hi Tim,

You beat me to the email!

I just wanted to say a massive thanks to the Jensen Owners Club and to yourself Tim for the organising and promoting. I am very glad that the group enjoyed it, especially the newbies, it was fantastic to see so many Jensen's together so well done!

As I mentioned to you it was a last minute push for everyone to make it into a bigger event with the view to build each year. For next year's event, much more time will be given to the planning of this area, as you can understand we as a circuit organise many events in a year.

If the Jensen owners club would still like to attend next year, or indeed other meetings, that would be fantastic. You will be hearing from myself sometime in the new year with the possible dates.

Please pass on thanks from myself and my colleague David Willey, the Motorsports Events Manager at Brands Hatch, to your members.

Kind Regards,
