Hello chaps- thanks for replies.

Well the admin side of things seems a bit 'laidback' as still yet to be informed of all the detail etc.

Saturday might be a non starter as the interest (which has to be said is a bit dissapointing)
Sunday is by far the prefered day, infact only Chris for sat at mo!

We have so far:
Steve J
John D
John S
Rob D
jon L
Ian
Jason
joe
me

not really fantastic show case at 50th year- come on folks!! :D

Hi Tim,
I may be able to get time away from SWMBO. Is it possible to turn up on the day? Or do you need to know in advance?

The problem with this is there was no one in the club looking at what events were happening in the year around the country and proposing these events either to area reps to follow up on or to the committee to deal with them as a national club event. All these events are published in the various classic car press at the beginning of the year but we don't have anyone looking specifically at that. The invitation to this one has come from the organisers quite late and a lot of people have already committed to other events. I'm already committed on Sunday 3rd July which is why I offered only the Saturday.
What we need is an events co-ordinator/manager whose responsibility is to review the national calendar and make suggestions what the club should get involved in.

Yup agree- this is eating up some serious time!!

Right.

I just spoke to the organiser at Brands, in order to save last minute ticket issues, they will send passes out to you direct, rather than sending to me, then forwarding to you, esp as they havnt even got the passes to send yet! They estimate will be ready end of week, hence the agreement to send direct-phew!

So, can everyone mail me timspjensenclark@yahoo.com with name & address.
I will then call that in.Pass is for car & driver & as keep mentioning is FREE! If you have passengers, I'd pre book that this week, details via the link prev.
Sounds like we have a great position close to the action & they are mega pleased we are displaying-
You will need a pass to gain entry, so get on the list, even if your 50/50 etc.

Or you can pay on gate on way in,so not the end of the world if you have a last mo passenger on the day!

Unfortunatly Tim Essex has it's Maldon town show on that Sunday, nearly 800 classics are booked for the event!.

I can poss be at Brands early and leave early, send me a pass and i'll do my best.

Hi Dave, hope you can make it, please bring the V8 Healey as it would be nice to compare convertions.
