I Finally Have Possession!
Twenty-Three (23) months and many foibles later, I picked up my Interceptor on Saturday and was able to start it, drive it, and nothing broke whilst pulling it on the the road (I will recount more in the Tech and Members' forums).
Used a pint of neatsfoot oil on the first pass on the leather (that's a lot!). I have all the treatments and dyes here, however it will need many, many more iterations of oil before it is ready for finishing. Did manage to progress from rock hard to extremely stiff, though. I look forward to the day when I can show "before" and "after" pictures. Here are a few more snapshots from the first day: I want to thank all of you for sharing your knowledge. What I have gained from this forum has cut months, if not years, off the body and mechanical restoration time, to say nothing of the thousands of dollars saved.
Naturally, I drove it home and started restoring the interior! Having looked over the original maintenance records as well as the maintenance and tax stickers on the original windscreen, it appears that it has 59,000 miles on it rather than the 159,000 miles that I had thought. All I can fathom is that it was ridden hard and put up wet (and salty) many times. The carpet is in very good condition other than the front floor inserts and the boot floor is torn. I have replacements ordered from Rejen (had to do a wire as I am not involved with PayPal) as well as the passenger side sunvisor mirror. I have had to order some more parts in the USA as well, but we are progressing. Used a pint of neatsfoot oil on the first pass on the leather (that's a lot!). Re: I Finally Have Possession!
Thank you all for your kind words. We awoke this morning to tornado sirens, and as soon as I had my family secured, I thought,"What about the Jensen!" Fortunately, everything blew over without incident, though I will have to take a look at that recently introduced tornado-proof car cover.....

Matched to the original Crystal Blue. It had a rather dubious lacquer respray in the 1980's, so they used the spectrophotometer on the inner door frames to get the match.
