Another tool kit picture from JOC Forum. I saved it, and dont remember who was the owner of this.
Please, can you tell me - what car has this?

Also - is Husky spanner right?

And finally - any information about misterious spare tire rack adapter? Is this in-house Jensen product or it`s more common?

This doesn't help you at all, but a couple of years ago I spoke with ex-Jensen owner Mr.Pond, whose family had a shop in Welwyn Garden City when I was a youngster. He said before that they were in Birmingham and were Jensen's supplier of choice for small tools for use in the factory. That being the case, they probably supplied them for the tool kits too.

Just thought I'd mention it as a useless piece of trivia!

Well, I would say, its amazing piece of information. And amazing example how the information preserves.

From other point of view - with roughly 20 000 Jensens produced in 1966-1976, they purchased over 200 000 tools from King Dick only.
With King Dick office situated 3 miles from West Bromwich, I guess, they found its way there...

Healeys, CV8, FF, Interceptors, probably some spare kits for previously sold cars.

Now some more picture.

Two different wheelbraces - which is right?
Jack probably Bilstein - at least very similar to Mercedes of period, but never seen exactly the same. Any ideas?

And what is the round wooden block here?

Also some Jensen 541 tool kits. Again - different from each other.

Wooden block is supposed to fit between base of jack and ground.
(I'm guessing.)
Probably to avoid gouging the soft tarmac, or to get a better grip.

No, only the 541S has that tool tray under the dash - as far as I know, but not sure.

Tom Scullane told me that the tools in the rolls were always different it just depended on what they had in stock at the time i seem to remember my SP had a flat head screwdriver with a flat rounded wooden handle , yellow handled King Dick screwdrivers , tyre pressure gauge and various spanners

Damn, I already bought Husky spanner from US @ 10 usd + 10 usd shipment (ok, it was alongside with the ten other pointless spanners..)
Probably Husky was needed for the MOPAR stuff.

Is there wooden block standart for jack or not?

Well - still waiting dimensions of the spare wheel rack adaptor.

I hope to find the time tomorrow to have a look for it Dennis.
I know I have it somewhere because a while ago I bought lots of Jensen parts and I'm quite sure that adapter was part of it. All the parts are still in boxes so I have to sort them out first. The idea is to reproduce it but at this moment a lack of time is my main problem.

Regards,
Stef.

Stef, are you bild up your own personal pension Fund? It would be funny, if you would buy Jensen NOS spares from your pension insurance payments;P

But if seriously - I would be very grateful if you do so.
