Re: Name that car
Hi John,
The writing visible above the Pirelli logo is a slight giveaway: Frangivento Sorpasso. I think I’m right in saying that Frangivento in Italian means “break wind”.

Thank God there were only 10 made, probably the ugliest thing I have ever seen, worse than that Chinese version of the MK2 Jag!

Created by the man who brought us the V8 milk float and helicopter hot rod.

Also used Desmond Llewellyn in the advertising, which has a link to its name.

Re: Name that car
Desmond Llewellyn was "Q", the quartermaster for James Bond, whose bitter enemy was SPECTRE.
The Spectre R42 was devised by Ray Christopher, who built whacky hot rods before moving on to GT40 replicas. The R42 was a modern imagining of the GT40, but supposedly 42" tall. The R stood for Ray.

Thanks for the quick ID!
Surprised to see Bitter offered a AWD model of this car (like the Opel) using the system provided by Ferguson Research…. (Or so if says in Wikipedia)!
