Interesting to see what your parents missed on that day.

Appropriately, when I was born there was a bunch of clowns (Billy Smart's circus). Then Juke Box Jury featuring that well-known hipster and rocker, Robert Morley! And rounded off with "1962: That Was The Year That Was", which I'll have to agree with.
"Now that chassis number is particularly interesting ‘cos it’s the one after the one before, which is the one after mine, not many people know that"

It was a Saturday so...
Henry Fonda & Sylvia Sydney in 'YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE'
The Lone Ranger
Six-Five Special with Pete Murray, Spike Milligan
Dixon of Dock Green which included Michael Caine in the cast as an Indian Pedlar!
What's My Line with Eamonn Andrews in the chair
The Phil Silvers show
and finishing with The Sky at Night presented by Patrick Moore and closedown at 11pm.

But then they didn't really miss any of that because we didn't have a television until the moon landings in 1969.

I was going to have a look at what TV programmes were on on the day that I was conceived. I then decided that they were probably not very good.

So you owe your existence to bad TV programmes then. I think you have pointed out the solution to overpopulation: Free TVs to everybody, and popular programmes

1975 and I'm surprised how little the BBC has evolved, Last of the Summer Wine and Young Musician of the Year!

Being born in March 1947 in one of the coldest winters on record with both deep snow drifts and then huge flooding meant that from late February, Manny Shinwell had to restrict electricity and the TV service was switched of for several weeks but I think Petula Clark was supposed to have sung with a big band on the radio but homes only had electricity for 19 hours a day so I may not have heard her singing. I think there were days when -21 degrees were recorded.

One good thing is I have never suffered from things like cold feet or hands in cold weather - even minus 45 degrees in Canada.
