that grill seems to be fairly common with late 76 interceptors(factory running out of slats!!!?)

It was originally and erroneously labelled at the factory as a convertible. Let's see - a late 'convertible' with rusted out body and low-mileage mechanicals... If only someone had a brand-new convertible bodyshell on the market to transfer the parts into...

Sad old bus, it is heartbreaking seeing a poorly shape- but not an S4 re-shell.
There is little if anything to make a proper S4 from a Mk111. This mk111 (walnut dash likley & S4 ENGINE not an s4) is rare enough to warrant saving, hopefully somebody will.
