Jensen - Invicta connection

Here's a Black Prince for sale. Although Jensen made the bodies for some of the dropheads I don't think they made this one.

Another Jensen connection is the engine. Double overhead camshaft six-cylinder Meadows. The Jensen PW was to have a straight eight Meadows which maybe would have looked a bit like this. How that would have changed Jensen's destiny - maybe no Austin connection at all ..... !

OK, so the engine is a tenuous connection, but no more so than Donald Healey driving an Invicta S type!

My French is not perfect but as far as I can see in the description there is no mention of the coachbuilder but it does claim the car is in original condition!

That's chassis 105. Jensen built chassis 112, 113, 114 and 117. They are all accounted for.
