Dammit I guess I'm to late to secure this. Someone will have beaten me to it, what a bargain, what engineering, something so exclusive and special its almost imaginary. What a lucky lucky guy.

interesting that a click on the link comes up as though it is a JOC forum approved article rather than an advert.

Steve, that only happens if you left click on the link. This is a technical feature of the way the forum is now running within the main JOC web site so when you click on a link like that the new page is still opened within the frame that the forum was in.
If you right click on the link and select "open in new tab" you'll get a new page without the JOC headings which is the real web page.

Interesting to see that the car is getting some money spent on it, bringing it closer to the road. It does appear to have changed hands already. I am not sure when that page was updated. The car has a Keisler bellhousing on it now. Perhaps that is for the uprated clutch, which is hydraulically operated (3 reservoirs). Interestingly they have a mk1 wheel centre pressed into use as the steering wheel centre. Nice to see the original Mk1 centre switch panel, with an original clock. It appears to have Fossway calipers on the front. Might want to go Fossway vented discs on the front as well though!

Just came across this post, doing some research. My father actually owned PWO393F and was in contact with the owner in Italy who purchased it. It was absolutely rapid (recalling from my youth when he would take me out in it on weekends) it had around 550bhp with the manual transmission. With a 383 six-pack all rebuilt at jensen for a gentleman who wanted it built for hill climb competitions as memory serves me, it actually went on sale at Christies auction House many years after and my father purchased it from the buyer at Christies
I actually have a number of framed photographs of the car my dad gifted me and prior to him selling the vehicle he was going to give it me as my first car (probably wise he didn't) he only sold it due to it funding a property. From what I recall it was one of his few regrets. Amazing memories.

Hi Delcraigio, that is really interesting. Would love to see more pictures or hear more stories. My family had lots of Jensens but it wasn't talked about as it can become an addiction you know! I was given a Dinky FF to play with as a kiddy, I am still playing with them and have the model still. I do FF's, like six packs, and Grant is a manual gearbox fanatic, like me. It is a good time to put one together actually. The Internet helps us all find parts, and original pictures feed the future!

Ditto the above. My dad had an Interceptor in the 70's and I was heartbroken when it went :( , vowing to get one myself on adulthood that I would keep, and I did :D

He seems to be spending a lot of time and money, and every step is reducing the value of the car in my opinion. I hope it isn't on kingpin suspension, as the extra strain caused by those wheels won't do them any good at all. If you look at the video, the front OS wheel is a lot closer to the arch than the NS, hit a bump on a bend and it'll probably catch.
But it is his car so he can do what he wants.

Claimed zero to 60 mph in one second!

From memory,
Schoolboy O-level physics. (When I was 14.)
Newton's laws of motion:
v = u + at
88 = 32.2 x t

t= 2.73 seconds to reach 60 mph.

Sorry to be a wet blanket by introducing reality, guys!

Notes:
The above requires 4-wheel-drive and a tyre/road friction coefficient of 1.0
v = final velocity = 88ft/second (60 mph)
u = intial velocity = 0
a, Acceleration of 1g = 32.2 ft/second/second.
---------
Certain supercars have 'sticky' tyres capable of mu greater than 1.
And once moving, aerodynamic aids to increase downforce.

I wonder if this car is for sale. I need to find something suitable as a present for my 20 year old neice who is very disrespectful and thinks i am a little bonkers. Kenny38 8)

How dare she think you're only a little bonkers, Kenny!
When house-sitting at a friend's house in Scotland for 10 weeks, I was disappointed that he lent me his Ford Focus and not his BMW M3, however, after driving both, I preferred the Ford Focus.
So that's my recommendation Kenny, a diesel Ford Focus wagon. It rode much nicer than the M3.
