Meant to say in the other post, REG No. -- BTO 5K, Mustard 1972. Black leather, Just had a nut and bold rebuild and almost complete

Some years ago, I posted on the Forum about my love for mustard Interceptors.

I posted this a couple of years ago, but it is especially relevant when a lovely mustard Interceptor is for sale:

When I was a kid, I was a complete petrolhead from as soon as I could talk. By the time I was about 9, in around 1972, I had decided my favourite car was the Jensen Interceptor (at the time I was, surprisingly, unaware of the Jensen 541). I desperately wanted a picture of one to hang on the wall. Back then, there was no Internet to dip into to find an image of a car, and we were too poor to buy car magazines. However, my Mum had been given a pile of glossy magazines - I think they were Essex Countryside - and inside one was a photo of a mustard coloured Interceptor being pushed hard through a corner. Out came my scissors and soon I had my picture. Mum was not impressed when she found the big hole in the page! A piece of cereal box as a backing, some drafting tape carefully applied as a frame, and some parcel string as a hanger, and it was ready to hang on my bedroom door. To cap it all, I used my new Dymo ® machine to create a label: I must have been serious as I used the premium gold metallic tape!
Move on 40 years, and guess what I found when clearing out my Mum's old junk in the spare room! Here it is after 3 decades of hiding:

Just located another G series via E-Bay.

Owner confirmed it is 128/4329.

On my list as SORN. Never seen pictures or had any info before.

It's quite unusual to find one without aircon which was still an option at this stage of RHD production. The large cutout for the Learjet would have been filled with a blanking plate and the smaller standard radio would have been set within that plate, as the 8-track option was not taken either.

PHJ 338K is currently for sale on EBay (128/4632)

JLO 72K has appeared back in the UK from Sweden (128/4285)

They still keep popping up..

Can't see an Spainish registered cars listed late 1971 in the Genome either

128/4266 has appeared via social media.

A factory demonstrator and possibly at 1971 Earls Court Show.

Listed in Germany in 2007 in the Chassis Book.

Still in Mustard but with a few mods..
