That's great, you will have a (or 2) unique Jensen built vehicles once you finished the planned restoration!
Think about this: there are only 2 Jen Tug survivors and about 5 JNSN lorries, but not a single Tempo....
By the way, a German JOC member is restoring a Tempo too, not a Jensen though. I expect him to read this topic also, so he may get in touch. If not I will ask him.
I wish you best of luck with the project(s) and hope you will keep us posted on the progress.

Fascinating, have read up on them and the other commercials built, but few of us have ever seen one. Good luck with the resto, and look forward to seeing it in the flesh. Perhaps get it on the JOC stand at the NEC, to surprise the public once again, as they think Jensen only built Interceptors!!

Kevin, you hit the nail on the head... Exactly for that reason I started a Facebook group " the other Jensen built vehicles, posting stuff regarding lorries, jen tugs and prewar cars.

The Austin 8 body Jensen did looks really interesting. I had forgotten about that until Han posted some adverts for it. It had Pneumatic seats or something innovative like that. Always some new innovative idea being tried out.

Owen, a quick Google search for "Tempo Matador Teile" give a few spare parts sources in Germany. These sites are in German (of course). As you may know by now the Tempo was later named Hanomag and still later Mercedes 206, but these are a different body style so I do not think any body panels are interchangeable, not sure about the chassis and undercarriage, but the German specialist will know....

Owen, did some more searching and found this: Tempohanseat.blogspot.com. Scroll down a bit for Operating Instruction, lubrication chart, wiring schematic etc. in English!

Excellent that you found these books! The blue truck looks doable, but I suppose the two that you bought are vans?

Note the spare wheel well behind the bench seat,
The rear panel of the cab is fiber board.

Interesting, I am getting more and more curious to see the Tempo's after these were dragged out of the bramble bush....

Which Facebook group is that? There appear to be several!

The advert selling Matadors in the USA refers to them as powered by the Austin A50 engine, but they are sold as Tempo not Jensen. Any idea how that worked?
