Frank Loewy and Associates did some great work.

I really like the Dictator. The fellow that restored the Dictator also restores/maintains interesting stuff such as couple of Spitfires a Sabre and a Hudson. But not Triumph, Reliant and Hornet.... if you know what I mean.

Just worked out what you mean. Supermarine, North American, Lockheed.

Amazing to think there is only 35 years between the Vimy and the Vulcan. (I know the Vimy is a reproduction with V8 engines).

It is amazing, Stephen.

Both were flying that. The Vimy slow and very quiet and than came the Big Banger, the Vulcan. Ground-shakingly loud and monstrous. I was VERY impressed.

What year would that have been? The Ogle Scimitar was 1968 I think.

Wartburg 311/312 Camping was build between 1956 and 1967. So more of a decade ahead of the Ogle.

Spotted this lovely Cortina today.

Ironically it was parked outside the local scrap yard in Newton Abbot.
