Yes, brilliant Kevin! A 1977 BMW 3.3LiA - the automatic. It was the flagship model, the predecessor of the 7 Series. Yes there are 5 on DVLA and my car was the only in the UK on the road. There are also one or two carb cars from 1974/5.

Since Kevin guessed my first Name that Car very swiftly, here is a car dashboard and engine bay of another car I used to own, when they were a fraction of what they are now. I should have kept it!

Does anyone know what this rare car is?

A rare and expensive car indeed. I'll give somebody else the chance to ID this one, but will give a clue as it has a very similar head light look as the CV8.

You guys know your cars! Absolutely correct. Pictures of the actual, now in the Studio 434 collection. I bought in the days when they were very cheap.

Pictured below soon after I bought it in 2007. I had loved these since childhood and thought they must waft about like a limousine. But with the DB5 engine in them, and the second owner getting Aston Martin to put in a manual gearbox, they are a very rugged drive and want to be driven hard. His daughter remembered her father driving at well over 100 mph up the M1 when it was legal to do so. They make a fantastic noise. The first owner was the Beatles' lawyer Rex Makin.

OK my first two Name That Car were too easy! A final one from me (for now) is a bit more difficult.

What make and models are the six cars in first photo (excluding the bare chassis on the right) and what year was it taken?

What is the connection between the man on the far left and the boy on the right AND the car in the second picture?

What is the car in the second picture that I used to own? Quite distinctive if you know this common 50's classic.

Difficult to see which model from the interior, would need to see the bonnet length and if it had running boards. RMA and RME had 1.5L engines, RMB & RMF had 2.5L engines with longer bonnets. RMC & RMD were soft tops. A&B had running boards, E & F didn't and the badges are different coulours depending on engine size, either light or dark blue, but can't remember which way round they are. I only know this as there are 3 in my local car club, a black/white, black/red and my favourite, a black/maroon one which is stunning.
My guess is a RME or F as it has a later dash.
Some chaps from my club will probably work out what the garage cars are, and may have an idea of the chassis.
