Interior Leather Restoration?

Post by Martin B »

I'm looking for a recommendation for someone to refurbish the entire leather interior of my Jensen Interceptor MK3. Colin from Leather Restoration did my other Jensen interior and did a fantastic job. Sadly he is booked solid until next year. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Colin did my interior as well, he did a great job.

Hopefully you will find someone as good.

It depends how far you want to travel from West Sussex....

Cobra Trim of calmore, Southampton are just finishing my MK3 interceptor. Reasonable on cost and their leather work is pure class. If you want to go and look at what they do you can actually see my car in there to gauge the quality! Nothing better than seeing a finished product and checking if yourself🤣

You'll find it difficult to get a good trimmer without having to wait. I took my Cortina interior in to the guy who does all of Fuzz Townsend's interiors, the start of June last year, and he booked it in in his diary to start 10th November  It came back about a week early but was absolutely stunning. Beware of people who can fit you in quickly, there is a reason why they can fit you in. Ensure you talk to, and see, previous customer's work, or just bite the bullet and wait, you only want to do it once and is very expensive.

I'd be tempted to wait if you were happy with Colin. Someone who is good and will refurbish rather than retrim is going to be in demand.
