Retro Classics Stuttgart

This is going to be in English, you have to live with that.

Is anyone planning to visit the Stuttgart show this week? I will be there for the whole event. It will be nice to meet and have a chat while you're out there. Most of the time I can be reached in Hall 1, Stand E32 (Car Collection Wittner). We'll be exhibiting an Interceptor Convertible as well.

I might be there on Saturday morning - but not with the Jensen or the Merc. They cancelled the special free classics parking zone next to the entrance. So not worth driving the classic through the still salty roads. I will have a look at your booth.

Ein historisches/Veteranen-Fahrzeug benötigt keine Plakette für die Unfugzone. Ich darf sogar mit meinem Diesel-Feinstaubmobil von 1979 in die Innenstädte.

Ah, danke! Dann bleibe ich in der Unfugzone! Muss kurz nachschauen was und wo das ist- tatsächlich, scheint ein richtiger Begriff zu sein... Der Fugzone bleibe ich also besser fern.

Hallo Sven, gerne können wir uns mal treffen. Meine Innenausstattung ist derzeit beim Sattler - hoffe Ende April wieder fahrbereit zu sein. Ich werde wahrscheinlich Samstag morgen zu Retro Classic die Benze und Porsche begutachten - das hat mich übrigens zum Jensen geführt.
@Hardy: der Kumpel aus dem AlfaClub heißt nicht zufällig Joris?

Was great to meet you Simon. The cars on your stand were certainly more diverse than on most stands- there were tons and tons of Porsches and Mercedes(es?). I think you had the only Jensen there- an Int Convertible. We went out for a smoke and when we were back you had sold it! Apparently going to Austria. Also great to catch up with Sven- and I met Heini at the beer stand (coincidence- I don't think so).

Anyway, had a lovely early morning drive up on the almost empty Deutsche Autobahn- my first time really with the C-V8 (the drive home from Joerg's on the day I bought it doesn't really count). Was a blast- the car was a thrill to drive and performed very well. First time really that I drove the C-V8 quite fast over a longer period of time.

Looking forward to joining you on of your meets in Poland, Simon!
