Having, literally, just got back from the open day at Cropredy, I'd just like to say what a superb day it was. The sun shone on us and the cars all looked great!
Many thanks to all the people at Cropredy for putting on the day, their hospitality and helpful advice.
More than 40, yes 40, Jensens of various types were present, and it was a great pleasure to meet so many new people there. It's all very well communicating via this extremely useful forum, but it's even better to meet the participants in person!
To all those who did not make it, we missed you, but hope to see you all again somewhere soon.
David

A great many thanks to Cropredy Bridge Garage for the event, and especially to Alan the mechanic for servicing "the old REK" (as Lisa has finally named the car). After a few weeks thinking that I had sorted the problem with the secondary valves not opening on the Carter it would appear that they have been fouling on the Felpro gasket (sucked in like a figure eight) and only partially working. One full service and several forte treatments plus the new gasket and the Interceptor literally flew home . Also I think it should be mentioned that the buffet lunch was superb.
As has already been said, it was great to finally put some faces to names (mainly from the forum). Our Jensen experience is getting better all the time. The few bits I learn each time from fellow enthusiasts will maintain my resolve to keep going back into the garage with my overalls on to tinker and fettle.
