After a heavy night of drinking, dancing and general merriment any place to lie down and rest is appreciated.RajM wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 10:48 pm Fabulous weekend! Thanks again Stuart & Gill for pulling it out of your bag of Tricks. Loved that everyone from near and Far mixed & mingled, welcomed our new members, enjoyed the food, the day out, be it with the cars, the pottery, the castle or just the spa!
Look forward to seeing some of you again soon and many more of you next year.
This photo however for me was the best end to the weekend!

2 Very different CV8s in Concours but with identical overall scores. 4 judges, 26 sections to be judged, 520 potential points and we get identical points at the end of the day. We knew it was going to be close but this surprised us both. Bring it on next year for the decider!

Re: International Weekend 2022
What a great weekend. I do think Eastwood Hall is one of the best venues. My thanks to Stuart and Gill for their excellent organisation and to Dave for letting us have fewer cars to judge this year! It was so good to meet up with friends old and new and to have my annual workout on the dance floor. The band were excellent this year. I am so glad there was a good turn out for the Jensen-Healey 50th and hope to see more next month. My only regret is that both my Jensens were in the garage and I had to travel in the everyday car. I am ashamed to say I didn't notice the hot rod as being of Jensen heritage although looking at the photos the registration number is familiar - did it used to be a yellow interceptor?

Re: International Weekend 2022
It still has the Interceptor chassis, engine and front suspension, although the cropped back end means there is nowhere to attach the leaf spring so it has coilovers.
Last time we were at Eastwood Hall in 2009, there was a yellow Interceptor TMC 42M, not TMC 36M. Maybe this is the one you remember.
"Now that chassis number is particularly interesting ‘cos it’s the one after the one before, which is the one after mine, not many people know that"

The Judges,
Thanks to those that judged in all areas, Concours/Show and Shine, the runners, the mileage count etc and Nic Cooper for photographing the prizes.
Again many thanks to all.
AND many many thanks for my badge and the flowers. I was taken aback considerably.

After a 1.650 miles roundtrip we are back home.
Was Great fun ( first concourse in my life ) and I hope to see as many members as possible at Hampton Court Concourse - but then with a real sensation

With Le Mans and the C-V8 meet unfortunately too much for this year, but looking forward to a future International. Looks like it was a great success.

Just to say what a great weekend we had at Eastwood Hall.
We were so grateful to all the members who made us feel so welcome and part of the Jensen gang!
All the hard work that went into making a very successful weekend is greatly appreciated and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again at the next one.

Re: International Weekend 2022
We thoroughly enjoyed the International Weekend. Good hotel. fine food, perfect host and last but not least beautiful weather. Thank you Jill&Stuart, you pulled it off again.
After the weekend we toured around the Peak District, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and we took the ferry back to Hoek van Holland on the Saturday evening. The weather was perfect, Friday a bit too hot, and only on the Saturday late afternoon we had some drops of rain. We drove all the way following the back roads, often single lane traffic, and stayed in some beautiful airB&B places.
The car behaved perfectly as usual the only thing that went wrong was the wire from the temperature sender that detached itself. Set right in 15s.
See you next year!
