Concours d’Elegance Knokke Heist, Belgium
Concours d’Elegance Knokke Heist, Belgium
Hi all,
On Saturday 9 October – Sunday 10 October 2021 a very prestigious classic car event is being held at the Royal Zoute Golf Club, Knokke Heist, Belgium. This is a beautiful spot on the Belgian coast, a short drive from Ostend.
Seventy-five of Europe’s most interesting and meticulously restored classic cars will be displayed on the fairways of the golf club.
This year’s event includes such displays as “Forty years of the Audi Quattro”, “Fifty years of the Range Rover” and “Sixty years of the Jaguar E Type.”
I am pleased to inform you that my Jensen C-V8 MK III is selected to participate at this prestigious Concours d’Elegance
https://zoutegrandprix.be/en/zoute-concours-delegance
Entrance to the show is a very reasonable 40 euros per person. Refreshments are available on site during the course of the day.
If you would like a pleasant weekend away indulging your passion for classic cars and supporting the Jensen marque, I would be pleased to see you there and show you around my stunningly restored West Bromwich icon.
Cheers
Anton

I imagine it's a similar event to the Salon Privé in the UK. Congratulations on being invited to join in

Well deserved; I'm glad that they can recognise class rather than being hypnotised by the usual prestige marques. If anyone hasn't seen Anton's car, it looks as if it has just rolled out of the factory.
p.s did they describe the list of cars attending as "curated", or is that just the latest catchphrase in England?

Many congratulations Anton. You have a fantastic car which even the most meticulous judge would be proud to own I’m sure.
Good luck!

Fantastic result! It has been really interesting watching the success of the car after the painstaking restoration that you were so involved in for years! All that effort and enjoyable but hard work really paid off. You could actually write a book about the restoration!

Having seen it, I'm surprised it was only a class win. It's a lovely car.

I totally agree Stephen, and, Anton has no need to be tempted to buy any horses either
