Spring Break Cancellation

Post by RichardGibson »

Hi Members
I hope everyone is well.
It is with great regret that I have to tell you that I have to cancel the Spring Break in Scotland.
This is down to the on going Covid 19 pandemic.
The statement issued by the UK government for England makes it impossible for English members to attend.
The lack of clarification in statements issued by the Scottish government make it impossible for the hotel to say if they will be open for business or even if Scottish members will be able to travel outside their council area.
The Saturday venue at Alyth for a trip round Highland Restorations are equally unable to confirm the visit now and have cancelled all events until after June.
Thus it is with a heavy heart that I am officially cancelling the event for this year.
Could Spring Break be in Scotland next year?? What do you all think??
Take care everyone.
Regards
Richard

Richard,

It is a sad but inevitable situation we find ourselves in.

I and no doubt everyone else understands the situation.

As for Spring Break next year, WHY NOT? Get it in the diary now. Onwards and upwards.

Keep smiling everyone.

Yes it's sad but inevitable with the times we are in.

We will put it in the diary for next April Richard.

Hi Richard,
I think a Scottish break next Spring would be great so please go ahead.
Thank you again for all your efforts this year.
Best wishes
