International Weekend 2021

Post by Stuartjensen »

International Weekend 2021

18-20 June 2021
Save the date!

We have no idea what we will be allowed to do on these dates but we are determined to have an International Weekend within the rules. Ideally we will have a full relaxation and be able to enjoy everything as before; if not we will comply with whatever regulations apply. :D

I have a provisional booking at the hotel we had intended using this year, the car park is large enough to accommodate a socially distanced Concours if necessary.

I will post again when arrangements firm up.

Thanks Stuart,

Yes the 50th Anniversary JOC International meeting is entering "we are going to do something BRILLIANT stage" if we can.

Alexandra House Wroughton near Marlborough Wiltshire. The Club has had a couple of good times there in the past.

So, to make it a truly wonderful Celebration of 50 years of the club, lets make it great for Len Jackson No.1 member and get as many, if not all, Jensen models and derivatives there!

That is good news and I look forward to it. We have certainly had some good times at Wroughton in the past.

Great news Jörg!

Do it and we will have the White Lady as a Featured Exhibit in the Concours!

Really look forward to that (and seeing you of course!)

I've somehow missed this post... but having just skimmed through the latest club mag that has arrived today, I noted that the international was at Wroughton and came on here to ask about dates...

And there it is in big and bold :D :D

Here's hoping to make up for lost time.

We are planning the best event we can manage, not least because we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of our club.

The hotel has allowed us to get a date in their diary, they are inundated with weddings, some of which have been postponed 3 times!

We will of course have to follow whatever regulations apply at the time of the event, recent developments are not positive sadly. Happily if you recall Wroughton it is not short of parking space and we would be able to manage concours even if social distancing still applies!

I will try to post as soon as we have clarity.

Good luck Stuart.
Trying to plan 6 months ahead when it's impossible to know what 6 days ahead looks like is no enviable task.

Are there any events "planned" for the Americas in 2021.
I have taken cars by container to the UK before, but with the price of containers today it is getting prohibitive.
Any thoughts?
