With 15 replies in just a few days I had better start planning!

Looking at the weather historically in the South West i'm going to aim for Fri 17th - Sun 19th Sept 2021. I am sure this WILL clash with something but after the biblical weather on the 2019 tour it's better to bring it forward a week.

I have a few ideas in mind and know I need to find a better hotel than 2019 and some decent driving roads and attractions.

Watch this space

After careful consideration, I can advise that, all things being equal, we are up for it!!

Hi John

Would love to do this as well as HJGH but please bear in mind if quarantine is still going on at that time could disrupt bookings.

Possible South West Tour 2021 (Devon / Cornwall) - POSTPONED UNTIL 2022

Post by Pymmie »

Hi Everyone,

With everything still up in the air regarding what we can and can't do in 2021 I have made the decision

to postpone my 2021 Tour in Devon until 2022.

I will watch the events schedule and try to avoid some of the bigger events like Goodwood and the Dutch Tour.

Fingers crossed that normality will have resumed..

Sorry for any invonvienence caused.

Regards

Dear John,

Debbie and I would have loved to have come as our car would have been run in by then. I think the main obstacle you would have encountered was finding suitable accommodation, one of our customers handles holiday let’s in Cornwall and she says that there isn’t a decent rental to be had until mid October. The prices are also well up due to pent up demand and the limited choices left are either dog sheds or so expensive the owners are willing to bide their time to get top £££
Also avoiding Goodwood where a lot of people have rolled over tickets as well

Hopefully in 2022 life will be a little easier

Regards

John

But we quiet understand, looking forward to 2022.

This is a shame but it is so difficult to plan anthing at the moment. Let's hope 2022 is a more sociable year for everyone and I look forward to another successful South West Tour.

No Problem John, looks like everything is being postponed to next year, my business is looking very grim at the moment, we don't know when we will have our first concert or exhibition, but so long as I'm still getting paid then bonus having all this time off. Catch up whenever.
