Potential Southern Area Meeting July 16th

Post by EdwardB »

Assuming the lockdown eases in the meantime, we wanted to gauge interest in a Meeting at our usual venue on July 16th, 6.30pm to 7.00 pm start at:
The Pub with No Name, (AKA White Horse) Priors Dean, GU32 1DA

There are rumours of Pubs opening and social distancing being reduced to one metre in the next few weeks, if this happens then an outdoor Classic Car Meeting looks feasible.

We’re not looking for a hard commitment at this stage, just trying to gauge interest assuming lockdown restrictions ease and we have good weather that evening.

Please let us know

I'd be up for it, providing the weather is suitable for outdoor socially distanced (is that the same as antisocial?) seating!

We really appreciate your support Chris and your prompt positive response.
Will be terrific to see you.
I believe we now have four cars lined up already, assuming the relaxation of lockdown measures and good weather.
I know some of our group will respond to an email nearer the date of the Meeting.
Would be great if we can make this happen, almost like things used to be.
Fingers crossed!

You can put me down as interested subject to weather, I shrink in the rain and cold. Car is running just waiting on a new reliable fuel pressure regulator and hopefully all will be well.

John,

It will be great if you can join us, if all goes ahead.
Cannot wait to see the newly renovated car.
The photos you sent looked terrific.

Best regards,

Edward

I'm interested, subject to weather. This will be the first time I have brought my Jensen to a JOC meeting! What a landmark...
