JOC Open Day

The JOC Open Day venue has been confirmed.
This year it will be held at the National Space Centre Leicester, Exploration Drive, Leicester, LE4 5NS
Start and finish time 10am - 5pm on Sunday, April 19th.
It has been 14 years since the JOC was last at this venue so come one and come all.
Look out for more information in the upcoming JOC Magazine
Hopefully, the weather will be kind for us

Hi,
Chris, Colin, can you please post what will be in the Magazine to the main website event diary and here as it is an open event for everyone who's interested in joining & if someone don’t get a magazine i.e. they have not joined the club but just the forum, they won’t know anymore than “more details in the magazine”.

Raj, the website, forum and Facebook pages will be updated as the events of the day are finalised. Right now it's still work in progress.

Dear JOC Member,
Following today's announcement by the Prime Minister and the statement on the forum from the Chairman it is expected that the JOC Open Day will NOT be going ahead as planned on 19th April and we will be looking to reschedule this for a later date in the year.

Neil, we are considering a revised date but at the moment I don't think anyone is really in a position to make any firm plans for anything.

As the Spring Break is looking promising for April. Please may we know the proposed date for the JOC Open Day 2021
Being down near Brighton I will be doing some serious driving

The JOC Open Day had been planned for April 25th at the Leicester Space Museum, as listed in the Events diary on the JOC website.
Following the recent government announcement the Leicester Space Museum have advised that our event cannot take place on this date. They have offered us the opportunity to rebook for another date later this year.
We will look to hold this as soon as practically possible, subject to availability at the museum.

JOC Open Day is now 17-7-2021 and it's the SP day. who knew ?

There was an A5 flyer giving details issued with the latest club magazine and it is in the Events Diary on the website.
