Jensen-Healey and Jensen GT Day - 28th June 2020
Posted: Fri Jan 03, 2020 5:58 pm
If members have been following my recent write ups in the club magazine you'll have noticed that I've been keen to resurrect the JH/GT Day that we used to have annually a few years back.
We've been invited by the MGC car club to join them on their MGC day being held at the Haynes Motor Museum on the 28th June 2020. It would be great to have as many Jensen-Healeys and GTs turn up as possible.
There will be a dedicated parking area where Jensens can park along side MGCs. There will be a small charge made by the museum for this but I've been told the charge is then refundable against the museum entry price of £15.
The MGC Register Secretary, Mike Haughton has organised a small package for the MGC owners costing £25 including the museum, workshop tour, drinks/snacks, use of room, own parking/show area to the side/rear of the museum but I have not committed to any of this, preferring to leave it up to the individual to choose what they want to do.
In the afternoon the MGCs have a drive out to the nearby Fleet Air Arm Museum at which there will be dedicated parking and hopefully reduced rate entrance fee to anyone wanting to go round the museum.
I'll post more information when it's available but In the first instance please PM me if you are interested in attending so I can let Mike Haughton know what numbers to expect.
