Bicester Scramble Sunday 5th January 2020 - anyone going?

Post by Fishyboy »

Hi all,
I am thinking of attending this Sunday's Bicester Scramble (never been to one before). Gates Open 8:30am close 2:00pm. Tickets must be bought in advance and are still available (https://bicesterheritage.co.uk/tickets/ ... tickets-3/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Karan has mentioned (https://www.joc.org.uk/forum/viewtopic. ... 28#p228228" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) that he might be going as well. Weather looks OK.

Yes I'm going.

I was a bit late buying tickets so I missed the first discount and got them on the second wave discount.

Nice to not be the only Jensen-Healey at an event for once.

Interesting to see the FF (WUU 21G) with a normal bonnet on it.
Previously it had a monstrous supercharger sticking through.

I always remember Mike the owner saying he had two new bonnets made.

I believe the supercharger is going on his Van of Death.

A Dodge/Commer van with a mid mounted 383!

That could be interesting Commer's had a narrow front track and a hand brake on the front wheels.
