No! I'm not the funny one either, at least not on purpose. Swiss ≠ funny. Our virtues are known to be elsewhere, like terrorizing the rest of Europe with our morning star (we used to be mercenaries). Only later did we decide that there was more money to be made by making watches and chocolate, probably around the time when the others began shooting at us as we were swinging our weapons. I think Rocky might have meant Stephen (VFK44).

Got it!

(Another amusing post - you are commodious without even knowing it!)

Rocky

PS> I am German as well, with close relatives in Bad Neustadt (near Wurzburg) and Muenster.

PPS> And I was referring to Stephen's post about the Monteverde valve covers!

Rocky; Just a small point - if you do a Postscript, it's P.S., P.S. being an abbreviation for the Latin "post scriptum". If you do a second Postscript it is P.P.S. not PSS. You can do PS or PPS, omitting the full stops (or periods in American English) which are equally correct. Here endeth todays lesson.

Help! That‘s going to take an afternoon of research, but thank you Jens.

By pure coincidence I had the chance to take out a Cobra (replica) for a lengthy drive today, a car which you can rent (https://www.rentaclassic.swiss/de/fahrz ... gLvlPD_BwE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), and needed some driving in after having some extensive repairs done. Just got home, just before midnight. Very cool, thank you rent a classic (Martin Rudolf is one of them). Worth doing!

What is "Bonnie"?

I've been reading up on the Momo, and am very impressed. So close to being a regular low production car, just the wrong timing. The spectacular body looks like a Fiat 130 that has broken into a box of steroid pills. That massive grille (like a contemporary Ghia) has really grown on me, and I can imagine an American equivalent of James Bond could drive this car.

Bonnie is the name of the Cobra car, all their rental cars have names. The Momo and Bonnie are good examples of the discussions we also had/are having about what cars are exactly Hybrids and which makes and models to include. Strictly speaking- at least as we understood it when we set out- it's a European car with American muscle. Does an American car with European styling qualify? Is a Marcos with a Volvo engine also a Hybrid? Do replicas also qualify? If someone shows up with a '67 Corvette, a '69 Challenger, or a '65 Shelby GT350- do they park outside, do we want them inside next to our cars?

We're on the main page of Zwischengas with our event (https://www.zwischengas.com/de/news/Ers ... -2020.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;):

No fear, contrary to today's usage, “hybrid” does not mean the connection between the combustion engine and the electric motor, but the fact that some vehicle manufacturers use engines from “third-party” manufacturers - as is for example Jensen did. This created exciting and mostly also fast sports cars and limousines, mostly powered by American V8 engines. In-line six-cylinder engines were also popular.

Zwischengas is the Swiss online platform, they are also involved with the magazine Swissclassics, where we will also be featured.

We were aware of Allard. Any chance we can get any of those models to join the meet? :D
