Karan and I will be arranging a space for this event - I am in contact with the event organiser to see if we can attend as part of the club. I will keep you posted on this, however if you are interested in attending, please can you message so that I can keep track of numbers.

Last year, the event was so popular that the town was completely jammed. There is an age limitation for this event and will be posted to the site website. Last year's looked to be a good day, I'd be interested to come on the day, and the after event dinner sounds a great idea.

The event they hold on new years day is also amazing. The last time I went I arrived at 9.30 to find the town centre crammed solid with classic cars and bikes of all ages. All the car parks were full and I ended up parking on double yellows for the day, apparently traffic wardens turn a blind eye.

Hi Steve,

Yes they do hold a winter car festival. It will fall on the 1st of January 2020. We won’t be taking our car to the event however we will be attending; maybe we’ll see you there. I’ve attached a link for anyone else that’s interested for the 1st of January 2020.

I will keep you all posted as and when I get more information, however, do keep the date in mind as we will definitely be going. Last year we gave £10 deposit instead of £5 so that we could get into the Market Square it’s a lot more easier in the square to park then it is to park on the main High Street.

Hello everyone,

Just a little update. Events coordinator for the Stoney Event contacted me today. He confirmed that we can have a max of 5 cars and a space in the market square. So can you, if you are interested and would like to attend - let me know. The cost will be £10 per car for the market square and there is no age limit as suggested earlier, however he has said that would rather we have older models pre-2015! lol)

So far I have 3 interested:
Chris Reed (interceptor ??)
Dave and Jan (Jensen Healey ?)
Karan and me (Interceptor MK1 or Mk3 depending on what he gets done!)

So space for two more - 541, CV-8 or FF would be nice...

more details to follow in the new year after I meet the Event organiser in January.

Of course, however, if you want to attend, and want join us four fancy dinner plans... (it is only £5 to park on the high street). I will post the link for booking once it becomes live.

Thanks for your reply. That is great. I will add you both to the list.

That fills up the space that I was given and hopefully they are accommodating with the location we get. I will be meeting the event organiser on the 1st Jan at the Vintage classic in Stoney so I can confirm to him the total cars.. The same for the Dinner, I will confirm all the info once booked.

Happy New Year to you all.
The New Years Day Vintage Stoney was amazing... The town was taken over by so many different types of cars, motorbikes and somethings I'm not sure if they should have had wheels ! It was larger than I expected but all good fun.

As promised, I can now confirm that we have secured a space in the Market Square for 6 Jensens. The following have been confirmed.

I will be sent the booking form as soon as it has been opened for booking and will send you all a message as to what details I will need.
