Hi Cannonball, my wheels are standard chromed Rostyles, the pictures make them look better than they are. I gave them a good clean before the show, then used car polish on them. I then cleaned the tyres with some new product you just spray on, and wipe over, but some got on the wheels and made them even shinier, so coated the wheels too! On closer inspection of them they really do need to be re-chromed, one day that will happen.

Thanks all for your great comments on my car, I know I am the worst critic of it and do beat myself up over the paintwork, but it does scrub up well and was very well received by all who visited the stand. The weekend has been great with good company as usual, with the club living up to it's friendly reputation.

Hi Dunc,

no trim rings or any trickery, just basic wheels, with some new stainless nuts on, that photo makes my car look a million dollars :D

Now, having just put the display boards to bed under the stairs, may I take the opportunity to THANK everyone who contributed to a truly brilliant weekend.
Those that visited, those that manned the stand and to those that passed with no Jensen connection but stopped to have a look but were intrigued as to what the Peaky Blinders were doing in a London Paris air race, a certain John Webb, with American V8 engines, 4-wheel drives, ABS, hatchbacks, Italian styling and of course the Calver input. I think that the Judges had no idea but for me a MASSIVE thank you to all again, because without you all there would be no point.

That seems a long time ago. I remember that year Dave had a real fight to get Thelma to agree to pay for lighting! Also remember a disageement with the Bitter Club opposite. However, I really don't miss those carpet tiles! Times change, every show is different but it's always a great team.
