541R to race at Goodwood Revival

For information: the Jensen 541R WLC 422 has been invited to race at this year's Revival in the Jack Sears Memorial Trophy, celebrating 60 years of the British Saloon Car Championship, on Saturday 8th September.

I was hoping it would be at the le mans classic this year, would love to hear it powering down the back straight.

Hopefully the 541R will be out at 13.15 hours today for practice if you fancy watching it on your phone or laptop.

Vivienne and I will be there. Martin Ritchie also and Pablo Bach from Hamburg that I know of. Probably some others. If you want to recognise me Jens, I'll be wearing a tweed jacket and a trilby hat so that should be easily recognisable.

We watched qualifying / practice this afternoon. The 541R qualified 9th on the grid of the Jack Sears memorial trophy race which starts at 1510 on Saturday. Pictures to follow.

Access to the pits area is unrestricted for the 541R. The bay is near the Spitfire bar in the row between the minis and some single seat racers.
