NEWBY HALL CLASSIC CAR SHOW 2018
Posted: Sat May 05, 2018 3:00 pm
Howdy all,
I don’t know why I’m posting this because it can’t possibly be nearly a year since the last Newby Hall event but just in case I’ve got it wrong, here are the dates for the 2018 bash!
This years clam bake takes place on Sunday 15th July and if the weathers anything like today,it will be a scorcher!
For anyone who hasn’t attended Newby, here’s a little background for you.
Newby Hall Historic Vehicle Rally is the largest event of its kind in the north of England and boasts some 1500 vehicles from the very earliest days of the road vehicle up to the 1970’s.As well as that, there are a multitude of stalls selling anything and everything to do with classic vehicles.
Bring the little ones along. There are tons of things to do including a ride on the boats,a miniature railway plus a playground for all those things I used to have the energy for! The cafe/restaurant is first class with a dynamic selection of pies.Whats not to like!
All my regulars will receive their entry forms this week so no need to get in touch. For those who haven’t been before but would like to,please PM me with your details.
Finally.....
As I always point out, this is known as ‘The Friendly Club’ and its an accurate description.Dont be put off coming because you don’t know anyone. You do.You know me now.Thats a start!Havent got a Jensen?Snap,Neither have I just now.Come one come all.I’ll introduce you to the gang.
Hope to see you all there,
Mark
