Classic and Supercar Show, Sherbourne (Dorset) Sun 15th July

Hi All,

JOC Southern area is organising the club stand at this years Classic and Supercar Show at Sherbourne Castle on Sunday 15th of July, 2018 (https://classic-supercars.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). The show is one of the highlights of the season with over 50 club stands, Supercar displays and Motor Trade, Autojumble, Craft Fair (over 150 stands). Around 8,000 people are expected to attend.

The cost to members is £10 (including all occupants of the car), a saving on the on gate price of £15. Also included is a show guide and entry to the Castle and Grounds.

In 2017 (which was a two day show) 20 JOC cars attended mainly from the Wessex, South West, South Downs and Norfolk groups over the two days and everybody appears to have a had a great time (https://www.joc.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=25903" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) .

This year is only a one day event but we would like to get as many cars and members there as possible.

Entry to the exhibitors area must between 7-9 am and exit after 3pm.

Hi Phil,

Currently there will be two cars from Wessex region, though normally there will be more, but it has just gone out in the regional newsletter. Peter Neale frequently comes with his 541 and he is in Weymouth and of course you will have a couple from Johns area.

We currently have 8 slots booked with 5 confirmed attendes and several possibles. Ideally I would like to book an additional 4 slots before the deadline. Of course should England reach the World Cup Final we might be faced with a bit of a challenge! Then again if England reach the final the world would probably have spun of its axis and well all be in trouble.
